CryptoPunks Announced Its First Newsletter Managed by Community

Techspace - CryptoPunks as one of the most popular NFT have people lined up for its upcoming release for sure. And after all this time, Yuga Labs finally created a CryptoPunks newsletter for the NFT fans around the world, named “Punks Post”. This is the first newsletter ever from the company. The newsletter will be filled with upcoming events, launch, and networking opportunities for CryptoPunks’ fans.

This news was announced on CryptoPunks’ Twitter yesterday (09/10). Cited from the tweet, the Punks Post will be managed by two community members, @ricgalbraith and @lorepunkdoteth. Those two were awarded by CryptoPunks in order to create bigger opportunities for the company using this newsletter.

Rich Galbraith (@richgalbraith on Twitter) is a writer from Manchester, United Kingdom. He started studying journalism at 18, while 20 years later aka now he is currently a “full-time degen” for a year and a half. He is the creator of ‘Tales from the Glitch’ and ‘Punk Fiction’. He said that the things he has done for the past 20 years led him into the Web 3.0 ecosystem, which has changed his life.

Conversely, Lorepunk as one of the awardee is a CryptoPunks collection fan from Plymouth, United Kingdom. Even though she doesn’t really have a deep-long writing background, Lorepunk is one of the people behind Forgotten Runes and Nouns DAO. 

Punks Post newsletter will be a bi-weekly newsletter, created and distributed via new token gated channels in the official CryptoPunks discord. This Newsletter can be used for submitting news and networking opportunities with the grant winners. The launch of Punks Post will be posted on the community-newsletter once it goes live.

Although this award is the first time for CryptoPunks, Yuga Labs has given several awards to the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) community, before acquiring CryptoPunks and Meebits IP. The first awardee by Yuga Labs was @jenkinsthevalet on Twitter, which has created a growing community in their own right.

This awards event may come in the company’s different subsidiaries. Thus, people can stay tuned on the Yuga Labs’ subsidiaries Twitter account, since this social media is the main communication between company and communities.
